I baited you, fleshed you,
comforted you, prepared you,
you rejected.

I shuddered for you,
pumped my soul into your
void. Don't ask me why.
You suffocated me.

You were barren in my

The moment freezes only when it moves
The lady thinks in metaphor,
Syntax, rhyme, and verse
I reach for her mind
And the moment begins to move again

Like wings on a dove,

To a place up above,
