From Lonely To Happy

As she walks down the dark and dusty road
Her life has yet to unfold
She is a very lonely girl
In a very lonely world
Constantly asking questions
But never getting the answers
However she knows that she is not destined
To live like this forever
She is a social outcast
And nobody ever talks to her
Because in the past
Everybody thought she was a freak of nature
It is as relevant today as it was then
At school she tries to make friends
But it's hard for her
People think they know her
But they really don't
But if they just take the time to get to know her
Then they will finally see how nice she really is
People think that she is a freak
And that she is weak
But on the inside she is very sensitive
And ever so sweet
She's the kind of girl
That I would want to meet
She always makes good grades
And is always at the top of her class
And she's always helping others
Who find it difficult to pass
and this is the thanks that she gets in return
I swear some people never learn
On a hot summer day
She looks at the sun
And sometimes she wonders
If she is the chosen one
But her journey has only just begun
And the journey will get harder
As the days go by
But everyday is golden
and well worth a try
Sometimes she just has to take a shot at life
She listens to rock music
To brighten her day
And to take her mind
Off of people and their evil ways
i mean what does everybody else have
That she does not
She really would not like to know the answer
This is not the kind of image
That she wants people to say
But being herself
Is the only way that she can be
She graduates from high school
And goes to college
She meets the love of her life
Although this is something that she thought she would never find
But she finally found somebody that was worth her time
So she eventually marries
and has a couple of kids
And in happy matrimony
Is how they lived
Patience is a virtue
Of which you must take heed
Because unlike you I consider it a very good deed
Learning to give
A woman personal space
Is the first step
Towards staying ahead of the race
And now it's time for me
To slow down the pace
Because there is always time
To write another day
