To My Daughter Caitlyn, now that you have become a wife….
I share with you, from my heart

I will never forget the excitement mixed with fear that early Sunday morning,

when we knew you would be making your debut.

On my birthday you were born, so tiny but already ready for a fight
and my heart overflowed with love and pride beyond any words I can describe!
You were my baby… my first born, my daughter, A GIFT and the love I felt was immeasurable!
You grew and learned so much in your first year that you never ceased to amaze me!

No other baby was as cute or as perfect
or as smart as the one I held in my arms each day and night. And I cherished…Every “first”, every milestone…each magical moment
My hand was there for you When you needed it, through every learning experience To help you up when you fell or to guide you in the right direction,

not always giving the best advice,

some might say I made a few mistakes along the way

but I say to them, no one is perfect but look at how awesome my Cait has become!

From piggy tails and ribbons..to horses and boys

To a party and a police car
You sure have such zest for life
but when oh when did you become this amazing gal!

You are caring, compassionate, considerate, loving,

mixed in with stubbornness and opinions with a splash,
You are more than I could ever have hoped for

And now today…you are a wife

Even though you have found that perfect man

Just remember you're still mine, dear Cait
I'm merely sharing you with that awesome man.
Seeing you in your beautiful dress filled my eyes with tears

No tears of sadness just tears of such pride as I raised you

My amazing brilliant Caitlyn!

Go together as husband and wife, but please always remember…
Make your dreams come true, together…
Most of all, love one another…

As you begin this new journey and I will learn to let go But I want you to know That I love you so…my first born…my daughter…my friend!!
