It's a beautiful day today
And it seems like everything is going to be okay
The sun is shining oh so bright
High above the deep blue sky
The grass is greener than ever
Which is a sign that things will get better
I stepped outside to pick up the paper
But I would rather enjoy the fresh air
It's such a good feeling
To be relieved
From all the stress that you are dealing
I wonder what I am going to do
As of right now I have no clue
But I'm sure one of my friends will come through
I'm sitting here watching cartoons
as if I have no life
Maybe I should go for a walk
So I can see the sunlight
Walking puts me in such a good mood
And I can't complain
My friend and I
are supposed to go see a movie today
I hope everything goes according to plan
Because failure is something that I can't stand
Excitement is what I'm waiting for
I hope that I get
Some numbers today
But I hope this time
They aren't all fake
I hate when girls treat me that way
To me they should all just rot and decay
There has got to be another way
To play this game
Being on the receiving end sucks
Because you get your feelings hurt a great deal
But you know what they
When life gives you lemons
Say screw the lemons
And get on with your life
I don't even know what I'm saying
I'm trying to make sense
In the best way that I can
I really hope that you can understand
That it's hard to think sometimes
Especially when you got a lot on your mind
But it helps to pass the time
I really hate straining my brain
This is driving me insane
I guess I'm thinking too much
Or too hard
Maybe I should take a break
And see what life has to offer
There is no rush
I have plenty of time
I know this poem sucks
But please hear me out
I encourage you to give yourself a chance

But oh well
It was worth a shot
Well right now I'm going to take a shower
