In the beat of a song, I feel your rhythm as it was then, your breath I chewed, devouring your spirit, you still live in my cells, I am a mantis without a prayer, consumption.

A treasure you are of that I'm sure and as for your key I must demure. There will be no need for me to procure, given willingly when you feel secure. Until that time I savor my leisure, maintaining this delightful adventure. Think what you want at your pleasure. Me, listening to this tranquil overture. Planting seeds without conjecture. With a smile I continue to enrapture.

In the autumn when the petals fell I let go of old sad ways. The air cold, crisp a bite of the winter to come. Brief the holiday of light, you in the advent. Snow swirled as did I, delight danced in my heart. An unforgettable season. Spring came, in my hand dried petals. With an everlasting scent.

What was it that impacted you, that mattered a perplexing convergence of two In tranquility I contemplated intentional ambiguity I would never know you would remain the question without an answer We were an astigmatism I was dumbstruck silence A puzzle piece I missed dearly
